About this event

This a casual, in-person gathering for therapists, prescribers, and mental-health professionals in the Ann Arbor area. We meet at the Ann Arbor Club on the third floor for conversation, connection, and collaboration—coffee and light bites included.
Our format is intentionally relaxed and conversational. Rather than formal lectures, we focus on dialogue, breakout discussions, and getting to know one another as people and professionals. The goal is to create space for peer support, shared learning, and meaningful referral relationships.
Upcoming Speaker Conversations
Vladimir Lipovetsky, MD, PsyD
Psychoanalytic Thinking in Modern Clinical Practice
A discussion of contemporary psychoanalytic and psychodynamic perspectives, including unconscious processes, transference, and how depth-oriented thinking can inform everyday therapy—even in short-term or insurance-based settings.
Douglas James Park, PhD
Psychological Assessment in Clinical Practice
An overview of when to refer for testing, how assessments support diagnosis and treatment planning, and how clinicians can meaningfully use results in their work.
Build genuine professional relationships Support practice growth through referrals and collaboration Create opportunities for shared learning across disciplines Offer a consistent, welcoming space for therapists and related professionals to connect
This group is open to those working in or closely connected to the mental-health field. Ideas for future topics and speakers are always welcome.

This is not a space for client-specific clinical disclosures.
Sharing resources or services is appropriate when it is relevant and relationship-based.
If you have accessibility needs, please reach out in advance so we can do our best to accommodate.
